Travel and Accommodation
All students who are presenting posters will be provided hostel accommodation inside the IISER Bhopal campus on a sharing basis.
If you are reaching Bhopal by train, you may get down either at Bhopal Junction OR Rani Kamalapati Railway Station OR Sant Hirdaram Nagar Railway Station (Bairagarh Railway Station).
(a) From Bhopal Junction: Approximate auto rickshaw fare will be Rs. 450
(b) From Rani Kamalapati Railway Station: Approximate auto rickshaw fare will be Rs. 550
(c) From Sant Hirdaram Nagar Railway Station : Approximate auto rickshaw fare will be Rs. 250
If you are reaching Bhopal by flight, please come out through the MAIN ARRIVAL exit and take a pre-paid hired taxi. The approximate fare will be Rs. 400.
Your DESTINATION is IISER BHOPAL. Upon reaching the campus, please tell the security guard that you have come to participate in the CRSI Conference. We shall keep the security guard at the main gate informed accordingly. DO NOT LEAVE THE AUTO RICKSHAW at the main gate, it will take you to your final destination as outlined below:
(a) Male participants please reach HOSTEL 8. Your point of contact will be Mr. Khokan Paria (mobile number will be sent by email) and Mr. Subhasis Das (mobile number will be sent by email)
(b) Female participants please reach HOSTEL 3. Your point of contact will be Ms. Sameeksha Agrawal (mobile number will be sent by email) and Ms. Sweta Kumari (mobile number will be sent by email)
Temperature at Bhopal will be very comfortable with a maximum temperature ~28C and a minimum hovering around 12C. So please carry some light winter clothes as during the evening/night, it may be a bit chilly.
We have a 24 X 7 h functional medical facility inside the campus. However, should you have any medical history, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU CARRY YOUR OWN MEDICINES.
You will have access to wifi internet facility inside the campus.
Breakfast for you all will be arranged in the dinining facilties attached to your hostel. All lunch and dinner will be provided by the conference organizers at the conference venue.
